Unfortunately we did not receive any submissions for our summer issue. Usually I’d push the deadline back, do some outreach, and scrape together a couple of contributions to publish, but my ongoing health struggles have been taking up most of my energy this summer and I just don’t have the mental resources to make it happen this month.
I feel like I am at a crossroads with deciding how to keep Ignited going, and would like to take time to think that through carefully and, if necessary, get the back-up I need to keep the magazine going. So, for the next couple of months we’ll be on hiatus, which could either lead to a fresh, better platform this fall/winter, or it could be that the experiment that Ignited has been has run its course and that I’ve learned a lot from it, but have to let it go because it’s not sustainable the way things have been going. I will keep you updated as changes occur.
If you have any comments, thoughts, or ideas about how to make Ignited better, or what you would like to see in the future, please leave a comment or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your understanding and support!
Peace be with you,
